The trade was canceled after which i was traded once more. He said something along the lines "sorry for that" and immediately offered 20k willowlogs for trade. I gave him a substantial profit for a pile garbage logs, and he didn't check. I continued to train firemaking using the logs...but at a much slower rate...this was a huge loss to a relatively young F2P scaper.
It was an experience that I learned from and since then i have double checked, and sometimes triple checked. Luckily, the Grand Exchange has solved a large portion of the problem, unless you are at the limit for purchases, however i am a patient person and will be patient for a few days for things to buy at the GE to get the amount i require.
